Execute a new business model for Agency Channel – recruit and develop employees, integrate and align them towards execution of business strategies formulated along with program manager of the initiative

Responsibilities and Duties
Key Responsibilities (Mention a detailed description of key areas of focus, essential functions and primary responsibilities required to be performed by the incumbent to achieve business objectives) Key Measures of Performance (Describe the major performance assessing criteria and expectations from the role)
a. Team Building
Recruit quality resources to establish the channel in the given geography. Ensure hiring is in line to the profile set agreed upon
Develop team members through regular and periodic reviews, monitoring and mentoring. Enable and track performance
Facilitate & provide regular training interventions (both classroom and on the field), as per agreed plan. Ensure team is equipped to with necessary skill sets to perform optimally
Ensure that the defined sales process of the company is adhered to by the team
b. Achievement of Business Plans
Build and broad base the agency force through continuous recruitment and agent activization
Own business plan for the branch – recruitment & business targets
Ensure that the existing team of Agents is engaged, motivated and productive by forging a strong relationship with them
Ensure that new Agent Advisors are constantly inducted, activated and productive for Team
Drive the incentive schemes to ensure that the income of the Agency managers and Agent Advisors exceed benchmark
c. Liaison with Home Office
Own the resource and expense budget for the Branch
Drive the R&R schemes floated by HO from time to time
Support team members (both employees & Agents) in liaison with the HO for addressing their requirements/ concerns
Being fully compliant to all the norms laid down by the regulators and

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

b. Domain Knowledge
- Sound domain knowledge of the health insurance policies and practice in India. Understanding of Compliance requirement & Regulation framework pertaining to insurance will be an added advantage
c. Leadership Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a team, keep it motivated and handle conflicts in a mature and tactical way. Span for the role will be 20 – 25 employees (location dependent)

Minimum Qualification Minimum Experience
Education
Education
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institute
- Preferably Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management from a recognized educational institute.
Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services distribution
- 1-2 years of team handling experience
